• How did the name J. Bradley Bespoke come about?

The name "J. Bradley Bespoke" was carefully chosen to reflect a blend of personal significance and professional excellence. The "J" represents the first letter of my name, while "Bradley," my middle name, honors my uncle. My father’s name is Jay, which influenced the choice of "J" as a meaningful starting point.

"Bespoke" is a term deeply rooted in the tradition of custom tailoring, signifying clothing that is made to a client's exact specifications. It emphasizes a high level of craftsmanship and personalization, which is at the heart of what we offer.

    J. Bradley Bespoke is built on the values of family, long-lasting relationships, and community. I aim to create a space where confidence is elevated through personalized, high-quality clothing. By nurturing these values, I strive to offer not just garments but an exceptional experience that reflects the true essence of bespoke tailoring.

  • How did you get into the clothing industry?

I’ve always enjoyed helping people and building relationships, so I like to think my journey began in the people industry before I discovered my love for clothing. Over time, I developed a deep passion for style, fashion, and curating outfits not just for myself but for others as well. However, the true value of my work lies in how it makes people feel. When clients wear outfits that fit perfectly, feel great, and are thoughtfully curated, their confidence soars. I often receive texts from clients sharing how many compliments they get on the work we’ve done. Who doesn’t love a good compliment? In simple terms, I've come to realize that the clothing industry is a genuinely enjoyable career for me. I love the colors, the patterns, how clothing makes people feel, and so much more.

  • What makes custom clothing different from off-the-rack options?

Custom clothing is tailored specifically to your measurements and style preferences. With over 30 measurements taken, custom clothing ensures a perfect fit and unique style that off-the-rack options often lack.

  • What does “bespoke” mean?

Whether it be a custom suit, blazer, shirt, or even a custom designed home, “Bespoke” simply means designed, altered, or tailored to the customers taste and preferences.

  • How does your custom clothing process work?

    Step 1: Discovery Call.

    Step 2: Design Consultation

    Step 3: Garment Creation

    Step 4: Delivery & Fitting

    Step 5: On Going Service

  • How long does it take to receive my custom clothing?

Typically, the process takes 4-6 weeks, but this can vary depending on the complexity of the garment, the workload of the manufacturer, and the season.

  • What is the cost of custom clothing?

Prices vary based on fabric, design, and craftsmanship. Generally, custom clothing is more expensive than off-the-rack options, but the investment is in the quality, fit, personalization, and working with an industry expert. For more information on pricing, head over to my products section.

  • Do you offer any sort of referral incentive?

That's a great question. Yes, I do. If a client refers someone to me, the new client receives 10% off their first clothing purchase, and the referring client gets 10% off their next purchase.

  • Do you handle alterations & repairs?

Over the years, I’ve developed great relationships with some of the best tailors in the market place. If any repairs or adjustments need to be made, please reach out and I’d be happy to help!

  • Is there a cost to alterations & repairs?

For your first initial fitting and until your J. Bradley Bespoke pattern is built, there is no cost to alterations. If further adjustments need to be made, usually due to weight loss or gain, the client pays the cost of the alteration + a convenience fee if going directly through me.

  • What if I wanted to get garments altered that aren’t yours?

Easy! Simply schedule a time with me and I can meet you on your schedule and at your preferred location. I’ll get everything chalked and pinned and brought over to my tailor. You simply pay for the cost of the alteration + the convenience fee.

  • Can I make changes to my custom order once it's been placed?

Changes can often be made before the garment is in production. Once production has started, alterations may be limited. If you’re wanting to make changes, please contact me as soon as possible to discuss reasonable requests.

  • Do you provide free in person consultations?

As an appointment-only business, I do not schedule consultations for people to simply browse.  I am, however, always willing to have a discovery call to help you figure out if I’m the right fit for you. For more information and to learn more about my discovery call, please feel free to head over to the process section on my website.

  • Do you have an online catalogue to shop?

My fabrics are constantly changing, and because of this I do not have an online catalogue to shop. If you'd like to see fabric offerings or examples of my work, feel free to check out my facebook and instagram pages!

  • How should I care for my clothing?

To ensure your clothing stays in top condition, I recommend taking all items to your local dry cleaner. For shirts, opt for steaming, laundering, and pressing without starch or creases. For suits, sport coats, and trousers, have them cleaned 1-4 times a year, or more frequently if you wear them often.

  • What if I have a special event coming up?

For time-sensitive events, I recommend placing your order at least 2-3 months in advance. This allows sufficient time for the garment's arrival, fitting, and any necessary adjustments. If you need your order sooner, I offer expedited services for an additional rush fee.

  • Do you have to purchase full outfits or can I buy al a carte?

Clients have the flexibility to make purchases as they wish. However, in my decade of experience, I've observed that clients get the best value when they leverage my expertise to create cohesive outfits.

  • Do you offer packages?

Absolutely! To learn more about my packages and pricing, please click here.

  • Do you work with people outside of the markets you service?

I work with clients outside of my primary markets when it makes sense for both parties. If you're out-of-state and interested in my services, feel free to schedule a discovery call to see if we might be a good fit.

  • What fabrics do you use?

All fabrics I source come from some of the most renowned mills in the world. J. Bradley Bespoke partners with distinguished names like Scabal, Dormeuil, Loro Piana, Vitale Barberis, and more!

  • What’s your return policy?
